Cowboy Singer Overcast comes to Havre
HAVRE -- Cowboy troubadour Ken Overcast brings his varied talents to the Ag Appreciation Banquet in Havre Saturday, Oct. 4.  He performs at the Havre Ice Dome at 8 p.m.
Sponsored by the Havre Chamber of Commerce,
Overcast's latest endeavor is hosting a syndicated weekly radio show.  "The Cowboy Show with Ken Overcast" is a one-hour program featuring cowboy music by various artists, including interviews, from throughout the West that Overcast has met and befriended in his extensive travels.
"One of the reasons we started doing this is our style of music is real hard to get on the radio." explains Overcast.
The program is carried by 27 stations from Virginia to Arizona, including nine in Montana.  Overcast produces the pre-recorded broadcast in his home studio and hustles affiliate stations and sponsors by himself.

"We're shootin' for 100 stations a year from now," he adds.
Catch Overcast in Great Falls on Sat., Oct. 11, at Montana ExpoPark when he performs for the Lonesome Country/Lincoln Foundation Quarter Horse Sale.  The show starts at noon.
